We stayed in the deluxe king room for a week in the summer and it was perfect. The renovations made it extremely functional and comfortable for two people: whoever designed the space did a great job. Excellent sounds insulation as well. The staff was very nice and helpful with local hints (the NP could be run better honestly and getting places is sometimes complicated -- still totally worth the effort, Banff is an incredible place in the world -- so the help with buses and parking was very welcome).

Great location and excellent breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Easy parking. No fans or cold air conditioning in the room and with one small window, room was hot and stuffy at night. Controls were for heat only which would be great in winter but not in late May when temps reached low 20’s. Delivery vehicles delivering supplies and laundry beeping and reversing at 7 am right outside our room.
