Was perfect, this hotel is made up of one bedroom apartments, we had a huge living area with sofa, tv etc, equipped kitchen with tea/coffee, good sized bathroom and big bedroom with king size bed. Was like living in an apartment rather than a hotel, but this suited us.
Great location, friendly staff, big and spacious room. Problems with wifi conectivity
Stayed at the Aqua hotel prior to a cruise. The neighborhood is a block from the beach and quiet compared to being on the main drag across from the beach. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and there was no once to check us in so we had to wait for someone to come when we rang a doorbell to communicate with the attendant on duty who was at another property. Prior to arriving, I received a voice mail message while still at the airport notifying me that our reservation would be cancelled since they did not have my credit card on file. I had to call back to be sure it was not cancelled. These two aspects were negatives before we even reached the hotel. Be sure to keep them informed if you will be checking in late. Housekeeping was stretched to the limits. It took them a long time to make up our room and it looked like they did the bare minimum to get in and out. The in room coffee pot was never cleaned and coffee making supplies were not replenished. It was spring break season so there were many young adults there so be forewarned that it can get noisy at 3:00 Am during this time of year.
The location and atmosphere of the hotel was awesome and the staff was very friendly. However... The coffee machine in my room was poorly supplied. Glassware I used the day before weren't cleaned or returned to the cabinet it came from. The floors were very dirty, like "Jiffy Feet" dirty. Also, my television spend most of the time "discovering a signal".
We loved this hotel it was close to the beach, and not far from everything else. And Maggie was wonderful and so helpful, we arrived early and she took care of our luggage so we could go play, then we had a late flight so she took care of our luggage again so we could play some more. I loved this place and we will stay there again.
