Staff were absolutely fantastic, some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a hotel. Had a number of friends with specific dietary requirements and they went out of their way to accommodate them.

Excellent area and lounge good breakfast but room was very cold one radiator in wrong position only decaf coffee in room small single beds and we needed to ask for spare blankets and pillows . Room too small for double occupancy and beds more like child size. Coffee at breakfast self service on hot plate and getting cold quickly. Food was good.I

Great customer service!
We were staying for 2 nights in the Elphinstone hotel. It's a really nice old style hotel with a warm friendly welcome. However on the first night I didn't sleep very well due to an issue with the bed. I spoke with the manageress the following morning and explained the issue. She was really helpful and immediately showed us some alternative rooms for us to choose from. We were really happy with helpful and friendly the staff were and would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.
