Great Place to stay
We arrived earlier than the check in time , just to find out where the Wagon and Horses were , The staff that were there was very friendly and said that we coundn"t book in yet but they would put our hand luggage into our room if we wanted that, So we left our luggage with them and left to explore Lancaster and we would come back and register in later. When we came back the same friendly staff were still on and we registered and we were shown to our room ,which was number 2 , It was a little small but clean and tidy and well kept, The fan in the bathroom was a little noisy when you used it but that was fine because we never left it on when we were not using the bathroom, We decided to have a Sunday dinner here because the food looked good and reasonably priced, The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff again was very helpfull and friendly,We would stay here again for our next visit.

Single night's experience
Comfortable, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Free parking is currently in street, chargeable between 11 and 4, so don't check in too early.

Good 6.0
Great location. Very welcoming staff. Our room was No6 at the back with a very noisy extractor/generator outside all night so a terrible nights sleep with the addition of awful pillows. Food was good with exceptional breakfast. Room was clean but the carpet was quite dirty & torn in places.
