Property is older and needs updating. Pros were friendly staff, clean bedding, and Sky TV in the room. Cons were rooms that are very small (not much larger than the bed) and no free parking.

The Crown is an older hotel and building that has been refurbished and has recently begun new management. Some furnishings reflect its older history, while some are very modern--iur bathroom was especially modern. Everything was very clean and comfortable, the staff, while short handed as with many businesses, were friendly and helpful. The Crown is right in the heart of Callendar and there is a bar/pub and restaurant inside, where we enjoyed our suppers (because many food places closed esrly and the Crown serves food until 8:30 p.m.) We would definitely stay there again!
