The Dolphin Hotel was one of our favorite stays while in England for 3 weeks. Our room was large and comfortable with harbor views. Not to mention the hotel location is in the heart of Whitby town center and near all attractions. The staff were wonderful and made it feel like a home away from home! We will definitely be back to visit soon

Great Inn in best location
The cost is commensurate with the great location, busy pub with rooms, nice bed. Parking was an issue, the swing bridge was closed so the SatNav was being a nuisance! When you get over to the south side of the river the closest parking is Church Street Car Park (~£10 overnight) but it is extremely busy, after wasting a lot of time we had to park in the loading bay, unload and go over to the Coop to get a space.
