One of the best B&B' s stayed at!
Friendly welcome from John. We had dinner downstairs in the cafe and the food was excellent. Breakfast likewise and substantial. The Sycamore has won lots of awards and deserves them.

Don't be fooled by the appearance!
Late booking for an urgent work visit. I did not know the area and went off reviews. Appearances can be deceptive! The Sycamore Tree is fundamentally a cafe, however above it there are three rooms. My room was a large one with a pine four poster, and some beautiful pieces of furniture. The bathroom was large and clean. Everything smelt clean and fresh. Despite the cafe being closed as I arrived in the evening, the owner cooked an evening meal for me. Similarly in the morning I was the only resident but a table was fully laid beautifully for me. Breakfast was a good choice, and all the food was tasty. Never judge a book by its cover; peel back and peek inside for a lovely surprise.
