It's a good hotel, but it gets quite noisy at night because of the fans in the lavatories and bathrooms.

Exceptional 10.0
Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at The Belhaven. Jade was very friendly and helpful, (she even booked a restaurant for us and wrote directions!) Our room was comfortable, as was the bed. Only thing lacking was tea making facilities! Enjoyed a hearty Scottish breakfast. Overall, very good value for money. Would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Great for the price but average otherwise
Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not always easy to find. Breakfast does not start until 7:30, which was too late for me because if office hours. The bed was comfortable but the room was a little noisy, especially the plumbing. No tea and coffee in the room - free at breakfast but otherwise you have to pay.

Was very good value for a budget room. Breakfast very very good.

Poor 2.0
Very disappointing service
My parents ordered a wake up call at 6 am and a taxi to the airport for 6 30 for which the hotel charged 21 pounds. The next morning the hotel only woke them up at 6 30 and the taxi never came. Another taxi was ordered but on the way to the airport the taxi driver said he wasn't paid. My dad got him to call the hotel to confirm the hotel has been paid but the hotel denied receiving money. They had to turn back to the hotel to get the 21 pounds back. Very disappointing service that almost made them miss their flight home

Comfortable stay
Friendly welcome and speedy check in. Shown to my room and bag carried which was a good touch. Room as expected. Lower view into street so curtains needed to be closed for privacy. Bed on wheels moved when sitting on it which was a bit of a nuisance as was no kettle in the room and a loose tap on the sink. Drinks available at cost up stairs.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for I suppose. You don't pay buttons and get the ritz and I went to the hotel knowing this. I paid £43 for an ensuite room single room with a queen bed including breakfast. The room was fine. A bit tired and with lamanite flooring which was incredibly noisy. Very thin walls. I could hear people pacing back and forward. I man on reception could do with a bit of customer service training. Very dull and not helpful and answered my questions about parking and my room location as if I was stupid. The lady in the morning was much better. Breakfast was fine. I only had continental and for a small hotel the selection was OK. Hotel was well located. I would stay again if in the area looking for a cheap hotel. But I wouldn't pay much more than I was charged if I'm honest.

Overnight stay
Comfortable and clean room, good facilities and close to the west end of Glasgow. Good to have coffee and tea facilities available in room.
