Disappointing two night stay
We arrived later than expected to the hotel at 9:45pm. We’d not eaten but luckily got a couple of pizzas at the hotel. We travelled with our daughter. There was a sofa bed in the room so very squished with limited space. The main bed appeared to be on a platform which was very slippery so the mattress moved about. The duvet hardly fitted the bed. There were only enough cups/glasses for two people despite us being a family of three. No biscuits or hot chocolate as you’d usually expect to find in even a basic hotel. ‘Luxury toiletries’ were in wall mounted dispensers. An alarm woke us up at 8am which stopped after a couple of seconds and then rang out again after a couple of minutes so no lie in for us. Breakfast was like a cattle market. No empty tables. My husband went back to the bedroom as it was too stressful. Very disorganised. Parking is at an NCP about 5 minutes walk away which cost £35 to park in. Overall, staff were friendly and was close to the city centre but wouldn’t recommend.
