Great room, great location
Stayed here to be within walking distance to Southbank, which it was, in under 15 minutes. The bed was very comfy, the room was spotlessly clean and fresh, and it was quiet despite being in a busy area. Room had a great shower, and there were biscuits with my hot drinks which is always a bonus. It did however lack power points near to the bed and I had to move the kettle as there was only one place I could plug it in. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would recommend not to have breakfast there. It cost me over £10, and everything, including the coffee was lukewarm, I mean I came down with half an hour to spare before the end of breakfast so was expecting the bare minimum, but still the food should’ve been warmer :(

Bad noise from aircon/ hard pillows/basic decor
Stayed for a couple of nights here as my husband had a meeting in the area. The hotel was the closest and most reasonably priced. The photos and review looked good so we booked online. Checking in was fast and easy and took about a minute. Was given 3 choices of standard rooms on different floors and we chose one on the 12th floor. The room was a good size and had a desk suitable for working on a laptop if you wanted to. There was a kettle and tea/coffee/milk. There was no fridge. The bed had clean white bedding and pillowcases on but no cushions or other covers. There are no paintings or anything on the plain wall so the overall look is very clinical.there were 2 windows giving good views, one las far as the London eye. Unfortunately the curtains on these windows are too small for the windows and one end had even come off the rail. There were 2 pillows on the bed and one miserable spare pillow in the wardrobe and they were all very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom is a pod type bathroom, very clean, white and clinical. Shower was nice and not too bad a size. The worse thing about this room was the sound/ noise from the air conditioning and plumbing. The air conditioning, even when off produces a loud engine like noise every hour or so, thus waking us up through the night. If someone else flushes their toilet, a loud noise can be heard in our room too. Overall this hotel is rather overpriced (we paid over £200 per night) as it is very basic and uncomfortable.

Great staff but terrible beds.
Great location and friendly staff. Main issue was the comfort of the bed and pillows. They were hard and uncomfortable and to be honest would sway me from staying here again.

I think the eating area is to small to cope at breakfast resulting in people sitting at the bar and trays being left in unusual places with a risk to these being knocked over. This could be alleviated by maybe highlighting in the room when the busy times are so people without constraints (tourists maybe) can go before or after or maybe promote breakfast in the rooms at a reduced rate ( just a thought). Whilst the rooms were clean I thought they were very unwelcoming, I was there for 2 days and really wanted to minimise the time I spent in there as it was just numb with no appeal.
