Very good 8.0
Clean, reasonable, newer, lack of service
I'm starting with the bad and will end with the good. I had initially booked 8 nights fully refundable. I only needed 6 nights in the end. and the hotel said I couldn't get refunded for the 2 nights. I either cancelled and took my chances at rebooking which was also much more expensive or I pay for the nights I'm not using. It seemed absolutely ridiculous the reasoning that the hotel was sold out so I couldn't cancel 2 nights and they had an 8 day minimum. What hotel had an 8 day minimum??!! Next if you stay more than 8 nights you get a room cleaning... so after I paid for nights I didn't use we NEVER had our room cleaned!! We ran out of toilet paper and were told we had to go to the front desk to get it. So paid for extra nights we weren't there and didn't get our room cleaned once. On checkout day the cleaners were knocking on our door multiple times before 11am. The last time she came at 1055 and told us we had to get going. We felt that was extremely rude considering they hadn't cleaned our room all week. When we went to check out they said we already had. I'm not sure how that was since we hadn't been to the front desk yet. The front desk staff were friendly and polite but seemed very overwhelmed. It's an excellent location, across the street from Liverpool Central station and a 5-10 minute walk from Lime street station.close to all kinds of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and pubs oh and shopping... oh I have been cut off can't finish revie

Practical aparthotel solution in central Liverpool
I stayed here for 11 nights on business. The kitchenette including full-sized fridge was an invaluable asset to making me feel more at home than I would have done in a hotel. The hotel has been built within the grand old Lewis's building but the only entrance is currently on a sketchy side street, with the grand main entrance yet to be opened as the rest of the building is still under construction. I found the policy of requiring guests to sign out a dedicated key for the gym from reception every day to be pointless and frustrating, especially as my room was on the same floor as the gym. Likewise it felt like penny-pinching to be asked, after such a long stay, to pay £10 to check out 30 minutes late. During my stay the hotel fire alarm went off twice, once at 4am due to a drunk patron breaking a fire panel, and it took the staff 30 minutes to reset the system (this was Grand National weekend and it was telling that the hotel put a security guard on the front door the following night - maybe they should have started this one day earlier to avoid us all the unwelcome wake-up call). Aside from these minor quibbles, I would be happy to stay here again if I need to stay in Liverpool city centre again for more than a night or two.

Clean and well equipped for self-catering stay.
I stayed four nights in a studio apartment whilst attending a conference at the convention centre. My selection was based on proximity to the conference centre and availability of a fitness centre and kitchenette for self-catering purposes. The kitchenette was small but had everything I needed. The facilities and utensils were clean and operational. Nearby supermarket within walking distance allowed for grocery shopping. Bedroom was compact but there was plenty of cupboard storage space for clothing, even though this was not necessary for my small carry-on luggage. The bathroom was clean and of reasonable size, though the hot water temperature fluctuated during showering. Minor issues: check in was frustrated by a statement that I had to wait until 3pm unless I signed up for the hotel reward programme, which would allow me immediate access to my room - this is ridiculous, either the room is available or not, and other hotels generally allow early check-in without being obstructive. Access to fitness centre required a separate key to be collected from and returned to reception, an unnecessary annoyance as this is not on the same floor - access should be built in to the room key. Also, lights in fitness room are activated by motion which does not cover the treadmill, meaning the lights go out after 10 minutes, which is quite dangerous - I did mention this to the desk attendant on checking out so hopefully it has been rectified. Overall, good experience.

New apartments in Liverpool
My studio apartment was well thought out and presented. It had everything I needed, plus a very generous-sized fridge. The bathroom was quite sumptuous, the kitchen had everything necessary and there was plenty of storage/hanging space in the hall.. The bed/sitting area was quite small but quite adequate for one person; it might be a little tight to accommodate two. This is an excellent chain of apartments from the people who brought you Ibis Hotels, and I think they are definitely worth considering. I will certainly seek them out in other locations on my travels. I saved the best for last. The jewel in the crown of this establishment was the superb staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble, and who made me feel welcome every time I spoke to them. They are the most valuable asset possessed by this new Liverpool apartment complex.

Great place to stay.
4 days in liverpool after losing our Tenerife hols with T.C. naturally myself and my husband were very upset. But..... What a result! Came to Liverpool . Best city break ive ever had. So much to see and do , absolutely fantastic time had by us. Spent my 61st bd in the world famous Cavern club. Saw every sight possible over 4 days and at the end of each day was worn out... The hotel. Highly recommend here for any age , couples or groups. Spotless , comfortable, tucked away from the main high street but central to everything. Breakfast was good, a little more variation on the english breakfast wouldve been nice. Even if it was fried eggs and a few hash browns, that kind of thing. But what was on offer was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Every room entered smelt clean and fresh. Bed comfortable. Pottery in bathroom high standard . I was in a aparthotel. It was a super kitchenette which also included a s/l dishwasher. Fantastic!
