About Aparthotel Adagio Liverpool City Centre

Stylish aparthotel in the city center, close to the Mersey

Near Albert Dock

You'll be steps from Central Station and 4 minutes' walk from Lime Street train and metro station. A 15-minute walk away, Albert Dock is a superbly restored group of wharf buildings on the Mersey, housing world-class attractions like Tate Liverpool and Mersey Maritime Museum.

Beatles, Cavern Quarter

Albert Dock is home to The Beatles Story, tracing the Fab Four from their Liverpool origins, and you can take a "ferry 'cross the Mersey," as sung about by Gerry & the Pacemakers in the 1960s. The Cavern Quarter, as buzzing now as in its '60s heyday, is just a 5-minute walk.

Breakfast spread

Spacious public areas of the Adagio Liverpool City Centre have a fashionable retro feel, with '60s-style murals and furnishings. There's a fully equipped fitness center and a laundry room, plus a buffet breakfast area and 2 meeting rooms.

Well-equipped kitchenette

The 126 elegant apartments range from double- or twin-bedded studios to 1-bedroom apartments, and feature striking monochrome Liverpool city view murals. Each has a fully equipped kitchenette complete with an oven and dishwasher, and all have free WiFi and flat-screen TVs.

Practical aparthotel solution in central Liverpool
I stayed here for 11 nights on business. The kitchenette including full-sized fridge was an invaluable asset to making me feel more at home than I would have done in a hotel. The hotel has been built within the grand old Lewis's building but the only entrance is currently on a sketchy side street, with the grand main entrance yet to be opened as the rest of the building is still under construction. I found the policy of requiring guests to sign out a dedicated key for the gym from reception every day to be pointless and frustrating, especially as my room was on the same floor as the gym. Likewise it felt like penny-pinching to be asked, after such a long stay, to pay £10 to check out 30 minutes late. During my stay the hotel fire alarm went off twice, once at 4am due to a drunk patron breaking a fire panel, and it took the staff 30 minutes to reset the system (this was Grand National weekend and it was telling that the hotel put a security guard on the front door the following night - maybe they should have started this one day earlier to avoid us all the unwelcome wake-up call). Aside from these minor quibbles, I would be happy to stay here again if I need to stay in Liverpool city centre again for more than a night or two.

Okay
Really shocked and disappointed that I had to leave a security deposit of £100 when this wasn't mentioned on the website. I wouldn't of booked here knowing that. I was there for one night with my son, so don't understand why this was necessary. The beds were rather uncomfortable and dusty on the covers. The studio apartment was modern and clean with the exception of the bed cover. Lots of useful equipment and storage. Location was good as 5 minutes walk to the city centre and the train station. Staff were very pleasant and professional.
