The Waters Khao Lak by Katathani

We have stayed here before it's a great hotel with very attentive staff.

Lovely hotel in a great location, only criticism is it could do with a bit of touching up in places, general decoration needed around the resort and some new sunbeds around the pool as many were broken. Had a pool room which was great but stay away from the Bay rooms as they look out on concrete. Very pleasant stay with excellent service and staff were very helpful.

I loved the many pools. I was staying in the Bay wing and connectivity was quite poor. I had to keep going to the living room to download e-mails, make bookings. I was his that was the only flaw in what could otherwise have been a perfect expereience.

I loved the hotel, it was every thing I imagined from the pictures. We stayed in a pool access room, which was amazing. Very clean, fresh and who doesn’t want to walk straight out of their room into your own pool/lounge area. Very quiet place mainly couples enjoying a relaxing time away. Plenty to do around hotel, lots of restaurants, shops and a beach. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Enjoyable stay in a very comfortable resort. We made use of a couple of the seven pools and the fact that the pools and rooms were so spread out gave an air of spaciousness and relaxation. It was predominantly adults there and it's OK for older kids like ours but I wouldn't recommend the Waters to young families; there are literally no kids' facilities. The location was fine, a few minutes to the beach and Bang Niang Market.plenty of restaurants and bars and an oversupply of massage facilities could also be found very close by. We were upgraded to an upper pool room with a very pleasant balcony. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom, despite not having a bathtub, to my daughter's disappointment, was spacious. At low season prices the resort was good value. I've stayed in Khao Lak several times and this was the best place I've stayed in. I'd have liked the breakfast menu to change a little more but if that's my only complaint then the place definitely warrants a top rating from me.

The room is dim and no direct sun light whatsoever because the balcony is completely blocked by the stairs a meter away.

Pool areas were excellent with plenty of lounges. The breakfast was good and its location is close to shopping and restaurants
