Nice big room with all facilities needed. Big bathroom with walk in shower that wasn’t functioning properly (the water was changing temperatures during showering, but nothing to worry about really.) Friendly staff, nice bar, lovely pool, all right in the city about an hour from the airport. All good.

Really nice hotel, few rough edges
We had a good time at Colombo court. It was the last stop of our holiday, and the staff were really helpful. Great food too. However, we went in the plunge pool & jacuzzi and my friend and I both got several cuts on our feet and toes from the tiles. (I got 20 cuts in total) We sorted it ourselves at the time with our first aid kits and thought it was just an accident, but looking back we realise that the pool shouldn't be this dangerous, especially since it happened to 2 of us. The hotel was great and lovely staff, so I'm sure they'll sort it, and I'd still recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Colombo, but this did ruin our visit a little bit.

A quiet oasis in a busy city
We were most impressed with Colombo Court Hotel, particularly the staff, always attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Whilst the pool is small, it was very welcome, especially in the morning. The poolside bar gave the option of cool drinks and enjoyable food and the restaurant, whilst not well supported, provided us with an enjoyable meal on one night of our stay. The "happy hour" in the loft bar was very welcome and drinks on the roof, after dark were pleasant. Summing up, a quiet oasis, made so much more pleasurable by a very enthusiastic and friendly staff. The oasis in Colombo
I stayed at the Colombo Court Hotel & Spa December 23 - 25, 2019. The hotel is in a nice area of Colombo and not far from some major shopping areas. The hotel itself is very welcoming with lush vegetation, water features, artistic ambiance, and most importantly a very well-trained and friendly staff. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The amenities were perfect. Besides the accommodations, there is a lovely poolside restaurant, as well as a spa. I had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner with multiple courses. The chef and kitchen staff prepared an amazing selection of very delicious and well-presented courses. The following morning I checked-out of the hotel before 5AM in order to make it to the airport to catch a morning flight. My company iPhone accidentally got left behind at the Colombo Court Hotel & Spa. The manager contacted me immediately once they found my lost iPhone and worked to get it back to me. The iPhone arrived in a couple days after some required paperwork, traveling halfway around the world from CMB to SIN-KIX-MEM-IAH... I felt so grateful to have it back, a gift was ordered for delivery to the hotel staff. If you are considering travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka... I would make this your first choice. Bravo to the management and staff at the oasis in Colombo.
