Hotel has roaches
The hotel had roaches. This is completely unacceptable. I told the lady at the desk about it, and she said she'd "tell housekeeping," but it should have been immediate action including spraying. Also, roaches are easy to keep up with, just use bait. Other issues include a swing lock on the door that was repairs with screws that were not sufficient. They do have a deadbolt, but there is no reason they can't also have an effective swing lock for added protection -- definitely don't leave an ineffective lock there. Lastly, the soap was very cheap. It's on a noisy road, but that is manageable with earplugs (out of the hotel's control). This could be a decent backup plan when all hotels are full for something like SXSW, but the hotel needs to respond to the roach issue, and ideally there would be a follow up inspection to make sure the roaches have been addressed.

Never judge a book by its cover
When i arrribed for a 4 day trip i was put on the 3rd floor stoking room. I reserved a nom smoking room. When i entered my room it was roaches all over. I advised the FD and stated i was lying and shaking her head I advise her to switch my room. She daid "if you are not going to smoke i will put you on the 1st floor" i was like no i don't smoke. Finally got a better room I guess she judge me by my tattoos or looks and put me in a nasty ugly room 1st. Last time i will ever stay there. I was there to work

Do not stay here
The room had roaches and I had difficulty reaching the front desk. There was a little mold on the ceiling. The remote control was greasey just a gross experience overall.
