Good hospitality and clean accommodations. Would be great for an extended stay, with full kitchen and dining area. The beds were fine, good water pressure and hot water. It is a little hard to find at night.

A little shabby but well kept
This is like an old motel and is kept clean and is in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to walk to the square. Not fancy at all, but it has a small kitchen and fridge and a/c in the bedroom. For the price (I think around 50 per night US) you can't complain. Plus, the woman at the desk was very nice. Also, because it is cheap they do not give you drinking water. You need to get it yourself. Also, it's a three block walk to the beach.

Basic clean rooms with kitchen, quiet
The staff was helpful and accommodating. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the maid service does the dishes! The rooms are very clean and there's air conditioning and ceiling fans. The rooms are pretty basic, there's parking, and it's a quiet area a few blocks from the beach.

A no-frills stay
On the plus side, the location was nice and quiet. It was far enough away from the noisy square but close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room included a large kitchen with refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was an air conditioner unit. They provided a huge jug of spring water for our stay. On the down side, the place is dated and very much showing it's age with rusty doors, peeling paint and other superficial flaws. The water was lukewarm at best and the water pressure wasn't great (we heard that's typical of this area). We had trouble with the toilet (even without flushing toilet paper down, as is recommended all over this region).
