Exceptional
Comfortable rooms and convenient friendly hotel.
I had a luxurious room with the giant round bed. It was on the front of the property and can be noisy at night, but I expected this near the Main train station. The breakfast, service and room comforts were all excellent. The front desk staff especially were exceptionally helpful and friendly with any questions or requests. Would choose again in Rome as a very convenient location near Termini, helpful and friendly staff and lots of stores and restaurants are easily accessible. There was a new TV in the bedroom, quality bathroom fittings and a fast internet. Genuine air conditioning system is next to the window rather than the fake warm air blown via vents often found in European hotels. As the area is central and can be high for crime the hotel also has security staff, which made me feel much more secure. A good option for Rome if you want comfort yet also to be near to the train station.

Gem of a hotel in convenient location!
Hotel is very modern and clean and sits in a very convenient location ( near central terminus ). Room ( executive ) was great although very warm as aircon not yet on ( windows did open wide to cool room ). Staff quick to help ( to bring working batteries for TV remote and to show the English idiot how to use the Italian style shower control! ). The immediate area around the hotel does have many "characters" : prostitutes, drug dealers, homeless, however, this is true of any city centre and we were left alone completely ( ALTHOUGH THE POLICE STOPPED ME TWICE!! ). It actually added to the character of the area and we never felt any threat at all. Around the hotel is quite noisy until about midnight when all the market stalls are finished, but we slept well. Breakfast was slightly disappointing and again the room uncomfortably hot for me. As already stated all staff from reception to waiters to maids were fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Great hotel from which to explore Rome
The hotel is just a stone's throw from Termini railway station which is very convenient when arriving by train and where there is a plentiful supply of taxis. There is a metro station here too which serves various parts of the city. Despite being in a busy part of Rome, the hotel is quiet and we were not disturbed at night. The check-in was efficient and courteous, the staff speak English well. One lift serves all the upper floors and it is not quick. One night it was out of service for maintenance, necessitating a walk up four floors. Our (standard) room was spacious with plenty of hanging and drawer space. The air conditioning was effective and necessary, albeit somewhat noisy when the fan level was turned up. The bed was large and the mattress comfortable; we slept soundly every night. The en suite was a good size with a large window which let in plenty of natural light. Toiletries were provided in sachets rather than bottles; we generally take our own anyway. The hairdryer was better than found in many hotels. The shower was over the bath and had both a rain head and a hand-held nozzle; pressure was good. The bath did have quite high sides, so one had to be careful stepping in and out; there is no grab rail. The breakfast room is located on the top floor, but sadly did not afford a panoramic view of the city. The breakfasts were well provisioned with some cooked items as well as the usual continental fare. There are many restaurants in the vicinity for evening dining.
