Good location in Asakusa with helpful staff
Check in to the hotel was performed late a night and there was a worry that due to the language barrier and late night check in that there might be issues. Process went smoothly and staff were very friendly. Hotel provides hot water which is handy for instant noodles or tea and coffee. The rooms were quiet and had adequate amenities. The room I stayed in had an issue with the floor leading to the bathroom, possibly due to water damage. I had to be careful standing or walking on that part of the floor but this could just be a one off in that room or there are plans to fix it in the future. Caused no actual detriment to my stay at the hotel however.

Poor 2.0
A bad bargain
The location is bad. Very far from any train station. The room very old ,dirty, extremely small and smelly. It is containing only futons which add to the general bad feeling. It is like a room in remote poor village in India. It does not worth the price.

Exceptional 10.0
Convenient, great hotel
The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is clean and the rooms comfortable. Sensoji temple and Kaminari mon are right acriss the street and about a five minute walk so the location is perfect. I will definitely stay there again. Oh, my ONLY complaint is that there are no washlets. Just a regular western toilet. But they do have Japanese bathtubs, the really deep ones where you can actually take a proper bath without freezing.

Exceptional 10.0
Clean, convenient, perfect for solo travellers
Conveniently located directly behind Sensoji temple and close to numerous train stations as well. Stayed in the traditional Japanese style room with a private toilet and honestly I do think this place is of great value-for-money. The room is small (this is Tokyo after all) but I thought it was just the perfect size for a solo traveller, especially when the bulk of my time is spent outside the hotel. The staff were helpful, and very much courteous. I enjoyed my stay very much and I do recommend this hotel for those wanting to stay in the Asakusa area!

As expected
The capsules was quite spacious for me being 5'4". It was a little stuffy inside and you can hear other people if they make a lot of noise. There's a locker for your belongings but it's not big enough for most suitcases so they might end up in the corridor. The common areas and communal baths were decent. It's out of the main part of Tokyo but there are some nice attractions and a train station nearby.
