A good stay
I enjoyed my stay at hostal Zamora. Good affordable accommodation and close to the nightlife. The room was clean and staff very helpful. Jose was a great host and was very happy.

Great central location, very good service
Basic hotel with clean rooms, and friendly efficient staff On a busy plaza and a great central location with easy access to museums, parks cafes and shops. Staff were very pleasant and service was good. Room was very clean. However, since it was on a busy square you couldn't really keep your window open at night and without air-conditioning it would have been impossible to sleep. As it was, we had to reposition the beds slightly (not difficult) to avoid cold draughts from the air con at night but all OK. Bathroom had poor ventilation but was Ok and everything worked. No restaurant or even local good cafe for breakfast before 09:00 so we used the Oscar hotel on the other side which charges €9.95 per head which is a bit pricey but is a very good breakfast. I was staying with my family of wife and two small daughters and thought that overall it was good value and would use it again

Good basic hostal right in the center.
Hotel is nice. New floors. Basic, but comfortable. The staff are super helpful and pleasant. Beds were comfortable with several warm blankets. Windows opened onto small courtyard. On 4 th floor but with elevator that holds 4 and is fast. No breakfast, but lots of bakeries and cafes nearby. Hotel building is on a square, near shopping, food and the Metro (grand via is closest). Enjoyed my stay. Will definitely stay again. It is not luxe, but is a nice comfortable stay.

Great little place
A budget hostel with great attitude. Superb staff, clean, tidy and little touches with complimentary shampoo and soap. Great location for walking to the sights and good eateries in the square. If you are on a budget go for this place. It was 10x better than a similar place that I spent one night at, down the road.
