The Amsterdam Canal Hotel
Nice '
Great stay lovely service Until check out when staff tried to withhold my partners credit card because it was damaged Accusing her of using a stolen card even though the card matched her passport name and we used it to check in ' was really rude about shame other than great staff

Gem of a find
Lovely hotel, amazing location, great breakfast and basement dining area, friendly and helpful staff, amazingly comfortable bed...but partially frosted bathroom walls are not for everyone (including me and my partner), and air-con that we couldn't turn on when we wanted it as the room temp climbed to 30*C due to the first hot day of the year! Overall, a good choice and best of all was the canal view from our window. Thanks ))

Beautiful, well located and lovely staff
We had an amazing stay at this hotel, which is very conveniently located for exploring the museums, the Jordaan district and the old town (especially if you cycle - bikes can be hired from the hotel) and the area itself is pretty, quiet and safe, is served by the number 4 tram which runs directly to and from central station and has a lot of very lovely restaurants, bars and shops a 2 min walk away. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - we were upgraded to a gorgeous, large suite overlooking the canal and with a jacuzzi bath! The staff are wonderful, kind, friendly, polite and incredibly helpful - especially Max! And the breakfast is delicious if you love scandinavian/continental style breakfast and there is loads of choice. Honestly can't recommend this place highly enough.

The Amsterdam Canal Hotel
Lovely hotel. I was upgraded to a suite which lovely although it did overlook the road and there was some tram noise. however, the quality of the room and service made up for it.

A warm welcome to Amsterdam
We chose to stay at The Amsterdam Canal Hotel for our first visit to Amsterdam. We arrived on Monday 14th March 2016 in the evening to be greeted by 2 helpful male members of staff who kindly took our luggage up 4 flights of stairs to our room. The room was spacious, quiet and had a view of the street below. The decor was modern with a lovely bathroom and a few mini bar and snacks which made for a lovely stay. We were greeted by the same staff in the bar that evening and we were given a complimentary selection of meats and cheeses on a platter - excellent customer service. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts each morning included a continental selection and an additional option to choose something hot from the menu for a great start to the day. The hotel was in the Canal Quarter, which was in walking distance of local attractions such as the Heineken Experience and the RijksMuseum as well as a tram stop nearby. We would really recommend this lovely boutique hotel to couples.
