Great city-centre location
Surprisingly quiet for city-centre location! Comfortable room. Good buffet breakfast.

Good 6.0
glad it was one night
a very mediocre stay. no one to greet at breakfast meaning I had to find my way around. rooms smelt of the restaurant downstairs and constant noise. I called reception to report this.

Fair 4.0
Great location but.....
Staff were friendly and helpful but overall experience not a good one. I booked two twin rooms and our room was on the first floor, very small, and the bathroom was so small that it was difficult to turn around and the shower controls could only be reached when inside the cubicle, very cold water at the start! We discovered that the other room had been upgraded to a spacious room with a large bathroom on the third floor, and so I asked to be moved. We were offered a room on the fourth floor which, although it had a larger bathroom, was still small, quite dingy, and smelt of musty drains. We opted to stay in the 1st room. However, what we did not realise was that we were directly above a Wetherspoons pub which blasted out music so loudly that it was impossible to sleep. This is no fault of the hotel and entirely understandable for a city centre location but I feel it should have been taken into account when allocating rooms. I also feel it is bad practice to upgrade one room of the party and not the other (particularly as I had done all the work). I gave feedback to staff regarding this and was given an apology and told it would be taken on board. Location of the hotel is great for getting around the centre of Glasgow, but for us it came at a high price of little sleep!

Nice Hotel, friendly staff and very central, breakfast very poor, typical buffet, over cooked, cold if there was any and constantly needing topped up, on the second morning the coffee machine was broken which was disappointing.
