They don't change the bedsheets/ 10 p.m. Policy
This is a small hotel and we had to walk through D'mall with all of our luggages because none of the locals that we talked to didn't know where Uptown was. On the 2nd night, we asked to get room service because the beds were a bit sandy but I saw the worker only dust off the bedsheets instead of replacing them. They will also try and charge you for every penny you've got, whether it's you losing one of the only two keycards that they give you (800 php) or having guests over to your room that you already paid for. On the 3rd night around 9:45 our phone rings and the front desk demands that our guests leave because there is a "10 pm policy" requiring them to leave... I told them we were going to leave soon but the phone kept ringing until a different worker bangs on our door asking if our guests left. All this hotel ever did was harrass us instead of giving us peace and privacy. When we were checking out the next morning, they wanted to charge us for an extra guest fee of 1500 php per person per night but we told them that we were never informed of such a policy until the 3rd night. We asked to speak to the manager but he was conveniently unavailable and we told her that we weren't paying a single penny because none of them even ate at the Breakfast Buffet! This hotel has by far been the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor: Check yourselves in at a Hennan Hotel where the staff is very professional and will treat you as guests and not beggars.

Boracay Uptown in the Middle of the Action
This hotel is located right on the beach at Station 2. This definitely has its pros and cons. The pros are that you have gorgeous views of the beach from the rooftop infinity pool, and you are within very close walking distance from lots of shops and restaurants. The downside of this is that the hotel itself is difficult to get to if you have a lot of baggage with you, since cars cannot drive right up to the hotel. You will need to grab a porter from the hotel to come back to the main road with you to help wheel your bags down a muddy dirty alley. One tip is to arrange all your transfer to and from the airport through the hotel itself. It will make for a smoother journey to and from the hotel. Another con is that while the location is very convenient to all the action, it is right in the middle of all of the action. The beach busy and noisy all times of day. This part of Boracay is CROWDED, so if you want a quiet little getaway or go on a less populated part of the island, I suggest taking a tricycle to Puka Shell Beach. Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel and its staff are wonderful. The pools are beautiful, and the grounds are kept very clean. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable. However, some parts of the hotel, where we noticed some parts were run down or in need of repair. But otherwise, everything was great.

Bad Front Desk Staff Service!
Overall stay was outrageously unaccepted from checking in to checking out. Front Desk Staff inefficiency and nastiness made us hated to ever come back to this hotel again. Only good thing is the big buffet breakfast and porters. The room is very small and water heater not even working even after we notified the front desk about it. Made us wait to get our room even it's already 2:30pm and upon checking out we were left by the inland transfers because they never even bother to inform us personally that transfers will leave within 15 minutes waiting time. It's so troublesome as the front desk didn't assist us willingly to call them or even assist a transfer to ferry terminal. We had to do it all by our own. Knowing we have 9 luggages, travelling with senior citizen and a kid. The other hotel we stayed in which is Boracay Summer Palace Resort is way cheaper and way better than this hotel from service, amenities, room and privacy.

Perfect getaway
We had a great stay! Service was excellent. Location was perfect, right in the middle of restaurants and bars, yet not noisy while inside the room.
