Coron Westown Resort

Only stayed for one night but really enjoyed our stay. Staff great, food good, room was amazing

This is my first bad review in like 5 years, I try to always see the positive but from the very first moment we arrived this stay was really poor. We arrived just before 1pm and told check in wasn’t until 2pm which was fair enough, 2pm comes and the lady said it would be another 20 mintues so we decided to have food in the restaurant. Food wasn’t great at all, service was fine. We go back to the reception desk after our meal at 2.50pm and our room still isn’t ready. I had to confirm the room name 4 times with the less than helpful lady on the desk. Once it got to 3pm and bare in mind we had traveled from El Nido which includes and 4 hour rocky boat ride enough was enough. I insisted a room was made ready for us and the person who eventually dealt with, a young lad was very good and made it happen personally showing us to our room. There was no apology. On the hotel it self this place would of been really nice say 20 years ago but in that time it just seems the owners/management have just let it get really run down and shockingly unclean in many areas. Our room was riddled with ants (see picture) & the AC unit when at full wack was like listening to a plane take off. We couldn’t take the sound after day 2 so switched off & woke up sweating through out the night. Rooms are nice and spacious with the large bed being the biggest positive. Common areas are dirty. Internet is not chargeble at 100p per day per device. Spa is reallly poor. Pool area is nice. Deffo wouldn’t recommend

Lovely rooms and service but food less than average.

Generally, our experience in the hotel was satisfactory. It was the booked escapades that we had that made the difference. The resort was really helpful in making sure that we will have the experience we ought to have while in Coron which is to feel at ease while in vacation. They made sure that our trips were on time and everything was polished. Lovely stay! Just make sure that if you order room service, know that there will be a charge just like any other hotels/resort. Do not blame the staff for your own ignorance. And please what you are signing for!

Great resort ,great staff only problem lack of nice food available and food just average,cannot get a decent cup of coffee just brewed mud

Beautiful stay

Great place to stay out of town. Great pools great view. Live music at night. You can sit on your deck and listen to the live music and order room service drinks. Had great time here

We stayed for 3 nights and the place is so nice and friendly. I’m definitely will go back recommend.

Food is great. Staffs friendly. Rooms were great, although bathrooms need come upgrades. Family friendly. For sure will recommend this to our friends and won’t mind staying again. The only downside is it’s far from the beach, but they compensate with lots of excursions options.

Huge room for three people with an awesome view of the pool! Great staff and service. Love the huge pool and live band at night at the bar. Food is decent but we chose to eat at Coron’s town Buzz Grill, Kawayanan and Lolo Nonoy’s. Westown Coron overall stay and experience is excellent. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
