very special place
The three acres is a wonderful place to have a very special meal and even better to stay overnight and make the most of the panoramic views surrounding the hotel whilst having a drink outside on a lovely sunny day.

Short Weekend in South Yorkshire
Stopped off overnight - delightful inn set in the south yorkshire countryside. Good value for the room and excellent evening meal in the restaurant with service to match. In the morning the breakfast was freshly cooked to order. again to a very high standard, nothing was too much trouble.

Great stay
Friendly reception check in on arrival. Nice room (9) spacious, comfortable bed, plenty tea/coffee and bottles of water. Breakfast was excellent, staff were good and was impressed they asked how would I like my eggs cooked. Couldn't fault my stay and would stay there again. Lovely countryside location.

Very Good8.0
Didn’t wow me
16 years since we last stayed. A pleasant stay although the rooms could do with some roc. The room was too warm even though the radiators were turned down. Not sure it’s worth the £150 charged.
