Basic, but fine for a short stay.
Hotel is basic and fine for a short stay. The owners are friendly and helpful, but the rooms are in need of a revamp.

Great place for the value
The hotel is a little old and dated. The new owners are great and make everyone feel like family. The breakfast's were good, great coffee, great service. The bar is fun and John the owner can make some killer drinks. Great little pool, very relaxing, with a local Slough just hanging out above you in the trees. Great location even though I drove past it a couple times before finding it the sign is a little hidden. Rooms are a little small but very clean, beds comfy. great little place to stay

Don,t stay in room 101 or 102.
We never had a room like this. Very dark, only 1 small window. It was new, but there was nothing in the room, there wasn't even a mirror. The room was situated on a very busy road. It was if the cars drove through our room. It was very expensive for what we got. I will never stay here again.

Rainforest robbery
No towels unless asked, no air conditioning, beds from 1960s, no running water in two rooms, electricity went away twice, the front desk guy 'forgot' to mention on Saturday afternoon at 1pm that the rain forest is closed the next day but gave the info that it will be crowded that day because it was already 1pm!! Restroom by the pool was locked and breakfast at the cafe was 8 dollar per person. Horrible condition of the rooms. HOTEL has to be demolished and rebuilt without a double. I have been to combodia, Indonesia, Bangkok, pataya, South China Sea, Kerala and of of course Florida. So I have some idea about third world, this was BEYOND belief. We paid 110 dollars for beds that were made in the 50s, mattresses probably older, curtains and linens probably bought in the 80s and hopefully washed last week but certainly not before we got there. This is by far the worst place we have stayed at for 110US dollars per night? THIS is GOING down in our Xmas history for the family.
