Fabulous hotel, good location, airport shuttle (it is not an orange shuttle as mentioned in the welcome email to me, it is a white shuttle now). Overall, quite happy with the stay there. Staff was nice and polite.

Waiting for a long time at the airport because they use different shuttle buses, nobody can tell you where it will stop or what it looks like, what colour it is. Hotel name isn't on shuttle bus we got on. Called hotel, reception staff were not helpful. Room was comfortable.

We stayed at the Bastion Hotel the night before our return home from Schiphol airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a helpful staff. The restaurant was good as well. The airport transfer was on time and efficient using a large bus. The only inconvenience was the lack of luggage racks in the bus. Overall a great place to stay, we would definitely stay there again.

Nice, spacious room, very quiet, and I slept extremely well. The bathroom floor was noticeably dirty, and a keycard sleeve from a previous guest was still in the room. However, the bed itself and the shower appeared clean. The hotel is quite remote, but that makes it convenient for airport travelers. The airport shuttle was provided and worked excellently. There is also a McDonald’s next to the hotel, which offers a cheaper breakfast alternative to the hotel’s breakfast service. Finally, there are frequent buses to Haarlem, making it easy to visit the city if you have enough time before your flight.

Did not have breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean. When I checked in, it was Alexandro who assisted me. He was cheerful and helpful and made the check in seemed like a breeze. You should get more staff like him; we weary travelers really appreciate such service.

The hotel was very attractive and the rooms were well appointed, however we had several issues. First, the TV and phone on the room did not work. We had to walk down to the desk to let them know. The manager was unable to get either system working again. Second, there was no soap, shampoo, or cups in the room. We had to go down to the desk again (still no phone) to get some.
