Dont waste your money
Wafer thin matress. Room almost flooded when using wet room. Over powering air freshners in lobbies causing myself and partner massive headaches as well as over power ans unbearable stench of over used cleanibg materials which led to a stick floor. Shall not be returning

As far as Budget hotel hotels go this was probably the best I'd stayed in thus far. The overall atmosphere was so warm and open, and I loved the 24/7 complimentary Tea and Coffee. One thing I noticed was how lovely every staff member I came across was - really smiley and helpful, and genuinely so. I was really made to feel valued and welcomed.

Good location and clean
Keycards needed resetting about 5 times over a 2 night stay. When booking I gave my child's age as 16 and booked and paid for breakfast, however I had to pay £5.80 for his breakfast as was told that I hadn't been charged as child age only applies up to the age of 12!! I don't use lifts and as the hotel is on the 6th floor staff were great showing me how to access via stairs - although it could be made easier allowing keycard to open door from stairs rather than have to wait for someone to come and open the door. Location is great with lots to do within walking distance and easy access from / to motorway network. Maybe more staff on desk at busy times - staff were unbelievably busy dealing with Reception and preparing food. On leaving there was a kettle, tea. coffee etc in front of the ice cream freezer for guests to make their own drink. From a H & S point of view the kettle was too low and in front of ice cream - ideal for children to reach!! An accident waiting to happen? Good range of snacks / food 24/7.

Ticked EVERY box!
I just needed a budget hotel for 2 nights, I needed somewhere, clean, good TV, good shower, good breakfast, friendly staff, free parking and comfy beds at a great price and Ibis delivered on all. If I have one very minor complaint, I wish I had 2 pillows so when I use Ibis again I will bring one of my own. Great hotel with a great price
