Exceptional 10.0
Pleasant, clean and great location
While quite a strange experience at first, once you're comfortable with bathing naked in the public shower room and steam room, the hotel's value for money is obvious. All capsules are very well maintained and cleaned daily. Staff are on hand to help at all times. You get a daily supply of clean towels, Kimono, and toiletries. The majority of the other guests are Japanese businessmen, so foreigners are rare. Most guests keep to themselves so there isn't any room for social interaction or meeting locals. Noise from other guests isn't completely blocked out while in the capsule, but it's still possible to get a decent night's sleep. Hotel is a short walk away from Ueno Station with a direct train to the Airport and other stations across Tokyo. Would definitely recommend for a few nights if you're looking for a uniquely Japanese experience.

Poor 2.0
Friendly staff , uncomfortable capsules.
Snoring and general courtesy of other guests was bad. The staff were friendly and spoke English, but the comfort was next to zero.

Very good 8.0
Good location and good falcility
The hotel is actuallt just a mere hotel but what make them different from any other hotel is.. the falcility that they gives to customer! They have onsen(which is only for men), sauna, resting area(for lay down your back or even sleeping!) and a little more. I was so relax when I stayed there. The location is very good with the area nearby Ueno station. They also have good restuarant and street food out there for those who want to hang out with friend in the local style(but mostly are izakaya). It will be one of the top choice of mine if I have a chance to come back to Tokyo again.
