We arrived at the Grand ,the check in went smoothly and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean , and had a sea view. We didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting. We had breakfast and a evening meal which was absolutely delicious, could not fault anything . The location was great with beautiful views of the bay . We will definitely stay here again , we highly recommend The Grand Hotel .

Hotel and staff lovely. Some parts of the hotel are tired. The radiator in the bathroom was on constantly it’s been a hot few days. Would definitely return it’s in a good location and the amenities in the hotel are excellent with an indoor and outdoor pool. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

We have stayed at the Grand on numerous occasions and this is the first time I was disappointed with the overall experience. We had a room on the first floor, room was really dusty , woodwork and windows lots of small flies. Staff were excellent especially in the main restaurant. Loved the outside pool and facilities, Whilst in the hot tub a random guy came in and I felt slightly uncomfortable and intimidated as I have mobility issues, and had to wait for my partner to help me out once he came to support me.I asked if he was staying at the hotel or worked there he said no, I know there is security around as we were asked each day what our room number was . Food at breakfast and restaurant was good. And thank you for being able to get a parking spot in your garage for the time we were there.

It's getting old now, no air con in the rooms, ageing decor but a great location, comfortable bed and fantastic outdoor pool. It's just all a bit weird. Nobody in the bar area has any idea what they are doing, ordering drinks was a lottery worth no logical system, food was paid for then after waiting for nearly an hour I went to check on it and they forgot to put it through. Then had to chase both courses, it was over 2 hours from ordering before I gave up on the pudding and asked for a refund. Views are nice. Good location. Great pools. Let down by staff.
