It was nice to have access to the drinks machine throughout the day and use the dining area. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would have been useful to have lamp near bedside.

Thumbs up for Hotel 1-2-3: clean, convenient time
Hotel 1-2-3 is cheap and cheerful; clean and conveniently situated 4 blocks from Sannomiya station and a nice 2km walk to the Hanshin Earthquake memorial. The room space is a bit tight. Clean linen and towels provided every day (I was there for 5 days). The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Hero-san. Interesting induction kettle which I'd never seen before. The breakfast (included) changed every day. A good budget hotel.

It takes for more than 10 min but it’s not so noisy around there. The breakfast buffet has three types of bread, some kinds of side dishes. It is ok. The staffs are nice.

The location was fine. The bed however was extremely hard and the breakfast was poor. The only eggs provided were uncooked which I understand can be used in Japanese breakfast food but was not good for most North Americans. We were charged $20 for a 2 hour late check out.
