A Great, small hotel in the center of old Paraty close to shops, restaurants and the harbour. Very nice accommodations, friendly service, great food and everyone super helpful. We had a great stay, warmly recommend Literaria and we will be back!

Awesome Pousada in Paraty

We came to Paraty for a 2 days stay and loved the Pousada and the village. The rooms are super comfortable, the service is as friendly as it gets, the restaurant is great and the whole grounds are manicured to perfection. 100% worth the trip

The staff was very attentive and courteous. The property is very well maintained and the vegetation is magnificent. There is a huge focus on environmental conservation. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town within walking minutes of all the restaurants, boutiques, the port and other places of interest. During our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation and some other repair activities was ongoing. The noise was at time bothersome.

This is a very special pousada! It's a lovely oasis in a lively and fascinating old town. Literaria is extremely conveniently located, spanning a car-accessible street on one end and the old, now-pedestrian centre of town on the other. The staff are extremely accommodating, and a special shout-out to the front-desk team, who were absolutely awesome. The amenities (except perhaps for the gym, which is small. But you should be walking around anyway!) are top-notch. They offer a nice breakfast spread. I would definitely make this my choice next time I'm in Paraty.

Os livros no quarto são um delicioso convite a conhecer novos autores, criando um ótimo passatempo Já em relação à pousada, infelizmente minha experiência não foi tão positiva. No momento da reserva, não fomos informados de que o local estava em obras; só descobrimos ao chegar. Isso impactou bastante a estadia, especialmente porque pegamos um fim de semana chuvoso e acabamos passando mais tempo do que o previsto nas áreas internas. As furadeiras e barulhos constantes tornaram esse tempo bastante desconfortável, e lamento não ter tido a opção de escolher outra acomodação caso soubéssemos previamente dessa condição. O atendimento no restaurante também deixou a desejar: diversos itens do cardápio estavam indisponíveis (como água de coco e dadinho de tapioca) e um hambúrguer que pedimos nunca chegou, nem fomos informados se estava em falta. Esperava um nível de serviço mais alinhado ao padrão que a pousada comunica. No conjunto, apesar do spa realmente se destacar, e o café da manhã ser muito agradável, a estadia ficou aquém das expectativas, principalmente pela falta de comunicação sobre as obras e pelo atendimento inconsistente e moroso

A pousada é linda e muito bem cuidada. O quarto era muito confortável e limpo, apenas um pouco barulhento, devido a uma festa noturna, dentro do hotel. O café da manhã era incrível, muitas opções e quase tudo feito na hora, por uma equipe muito competente e prestativa. A recepção é apenas OK: não demonstrou interesse em apresentar a pousada ou arredores, mesmo informando que era nossa primeira visita. Tudo caminhava para ser uma experiência incrível, exceto pela cobrança abusiva do café da manhã que já havia sido pago pela hoteis.com. No site da pousada, no check-in e no Guia de Experiências disponível no quarto, informam que é possível tomar café a qualquer momento, já incluso na estadia. No Guia, há inclusive um QR Code que leva a um cardápio sem preços. Pedi meu café, e ele foi cobrado no check-out. Vale destacar que o preço cobrado não está disponível em lugar algum, pois o cardápio não tem preços, tão pouco informam no momento do pedido, descumprindo totalmente o Código de Defesa do Consumidor (atr. 6º e 31º). A recepcionista argumentou que cobrança é feita pois consumi café no dia do check-in e a política só é válida no dia seguinte, mas isso não é explicado previamente, então aqui são infligidos os Art. 30º, 46º e 47º. Ser engando dessa forma prejudicou muito minha experiência.
