Character pub with good rooms but parking problems
Room was in an adjoining cottage at the rear of the pub, so nice and quiet. Very clean and smart but quite small. Kettle (and free whisky) was outside in the corridor which was a little awkward to use. There was a pod style coffee machine in the room (but I don't drink coffee now). There was free sloe gin in the room which was a nice touch and appreciated. The room was great value for money for the area and good breakfast. The main pub has lots of character with beams and fireplaces etc. Modern extension well done with quirky furnishings and opens out onto a very sheltered garden with lots of different seating options and a fire pit. Dinner was served until 10pm but was quite pricey and not standard pub Fayre. Cost of 3 courses with bottle of House wine for 2 was £120. Expensive compared to the cost of bed and breakfast. Lovely village with lots of walks nearby and other pubs and restaurants. Main concern was difficulty parking as pub has no car park and village is crowded with cars. There us one small car park which we were lucky to get into as a car was just leaving as we arrived.

Great accommodation in a lovely location near the
Friendly staff. Room comfortable although a little small. Welcome free extras ìncluding complimentary gin in room. Breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. Would certainly stay here again.

A place with no fault!
I think it is a very rare thing to stay somewhere where you cannot fault anything at all. It is a lovely place to stay with great staff, very good food, lovely decor, rooms and a great garden. The bed was comfortable and the shower huge. I chose to eat in the evening and was not disappointed. Great quality food which carried over to the relaxed breakfast. All in all a truly wonderful place to stay.

A Very Nice Stay.
We had a great time & a nice evening meal, the room was clean & comfy if a little cramped. Parking is a nuisance as they have no off street parking themselves and there are restrictions on street parking nearby. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and so they didn't charge us for it, so that's a plus for customer service. It is a nice place though so definitely worth a try.

Excellent place to stay but.......
The room, pub, restaurant, food, drink and service were excellent. Infact for the money i wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The only downside was the lack of parking locally.
