Hit and Miss
The location of this place is fantastic. It's easy to find and very central. The hotel has 6 rooms and we stayed in room 2. The room is small but for a central London hotel it was fine. It has a huge balcony (3m x 3m) with tall glass sliding doors so gives the feeling of being larger. The condition of the room was average and everything felt a little tired. For example the divan bed base was bare and uncovered, the air conditioning was broken, the hot tap wasn't able to be used because as you turned the tap the whole thing twisted from underneath which effectively unscrewed the nut that attached the water supply to the tap and then leaked hot water on the floor. The lights on the landing where the lift and stairs were did not have a working light so when the door to your room closed then you were in total darkness until the lift arrived and opened. We went to the bar for a cocktail before going to the opera but we waited 10 mins before they came back to the table to tell us that they had non of the ingredients for the drinks. By this time we were cutting it too fine to get a drink before the opera. Breakfast was great. Really fresh croissants and freshly squeezed juice. Overall the price didn't match the standard. It feels like a missed opportunity because it has all the makings of a decent venue however I wouldn't rush back. The staff and breakfast were great.

Great location
Location is superb, not far from charing cross tube station. We were opposite the theatre where we were watching the musical. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only slight disappointment was breakfast because the price we paid for we only got toast and cereals.

A Curates Egg - Good in parts but disappointed
On paper this boutique hotel in the heart of central London could have been amazing but sadly it both delighted and disappointed in equal measure and left me with a very sour taste given the money i spend on this exclusive property....... Firstly the positives...... Location was amazing and the room was nicely decorated with some good amenities like a kitchenette and stocked mini-bar and a comfortable bed. Lots of natural light too..... The downstairs bar was very quirky with a very open feel and a well stocked drinks selection which we liked but took on a nightclub feel after dark so we avoided as felt very out of place Now for the negatives...... The Air-conditioning in our room did not work properly and it was very hot so the only option was to open windows which let in very little air and lots of noise. We had three occasions where there was no hot water at all - this was reported and an engineer did visit but there was much scratching of heads and intermittent service. Hot water is such a basic need so this was frankly poor Our room was cleaned but the dirty glasses were not removed and the mini-bar not replenished. We had to ask for more water and milk There was no Telephone in the room (but a charger was there for one) so we had to visit reception to get anything done plus no pack about the services of the hotel Overall I would question the star rating for this place as whilst it has potential it did not feel like a hotel

If you know
If you know London'll understand the need for convenience, comfort and you'll develop a crave for a subtle silence..we loved it ...we stayed in the Brontë suite and it was sublime .Thank you for the comforts.
