We enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Watermans Arms. It’s a beautiful spot and the pub is nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Only lacking a fridge. Our only slight grievance was that it was very loud late into the night and early in the morning. We were also above the staff smoking area /bins so would get that noise.

A great random find. Beautiful location on the riverside (but via VERY narrow lanes). Superb beer, delicious food and very friendly, helpful staff. Only downside … we were unlucky and had a room close to the noisy kitchen extractor flue but we’d gladly return and simply ask for a different room. Very happy to recommend this pub.

Beautiful setting by the river, with plentiful covered and riverside outdoor eating areas. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Great food! Easy parking. Note it's an old building so lots of stairs and windy passages to contend with if you have mobility issues.

The room was very clean with everything you needed for the bathroom, loads of tea and coffee, clean kettle, lots of sockets for charging gadgets. Breakfast was very good, lovely and hot. Nice atmosphere in the bar and other eating places. Staff very friendly, Paul and Gayle are excellent hosts made me very welcome. Would stay again.
