    This hotel was up a hill a good km away from the main resort promenande but that was ok for us as we had a car. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was kept well maintained despite a sandstorm that made a terrible mess. Staff were quick to clean the place up once it was past. The food in the restaurant was extremely varied, well presented and on the whole very good. The chefs were more than obliging to cook for you at breakfast and dinner, always done with a smile. Although poolside was very busy during the day it was very quiet at night. We will definitely return.

    The staff were so friendly. The apartment was spacious comfortable and well equipped. The adults sunbathing area had the most comfortable sun beds ever! The location was good for us, a short walk to all the bars and restaurants but in a quiet area so no noise. Loved the Prosecco and bloody Mary’s for breakfast! Coffee machines on in the restaurant for after dinner would be a nice addition.

    Excellent place stay

    The Gloria Izaro is a excellent place to stay and the staff all around are absolutely fantastic and friendly - they will do everything to make sure you have a great holiday. Any problems are sorted out immediately by reception. We are return visitors and will be coming back here many more times. The reception staff make you feel like your are coming back home.

    On arrival we were given room 721. The room had a very strong smell of sewers.Then there was a constant loud noise from generators that was disturbing our sleep every single day. Standard breakfast, but dinner wasn't good-lots of food, but either over salted or under cooked (especially vegetables), strange/inedible salad combinations. The room wasn't cleaned for the first two days-it looks like someone just got in, made the beds and left, the floor was left dirty. The bed sheets were not changed either during the entire stay. Entertainment: there was an announcement board outside the reception saying what was on during the week, including kids disco in the evenings. Unfortunately the disco happened only twice leaving us and our kids waiting every evening for the show to begin which has never happened. Reception: slow and quiet. Where is the WOW factor for the 4 star hotel? We haven't received it and won't be back.

    Best hotel in Lanzarote

    My wife and i love this hotel this was our 5 visit and we are already planning our visit for next year the hotel is always very clean. It was also nice to see the towels being removed form people that had reserved beds from 7 am. Fairs fair
