Advance notice about pounding,noisy disco
Our stay on Saturday was ruined by the pounding bass and noise of the hotel disco,which went on till after 12.30am ,,with shouting,drunk people leaving very noisily, till around 1am..We had been moved to the 3rd floor,on check-in ,by the receptionist. He said this room woukd be quieter ,after warning us about the disco. .But,he was wrong,it was impossible to sleep ,even with earplugs in. Also,our top floor room,on a freezing frosty day,was cold. No heating in the internal bathroom either. Saving grace were the large,generous ,cooked breakfasts & lovely waiting staff. Next time ,Furzedown ,email customers well in advance,if youre having a noisy late-night disco,so your guests have the option of cancelling . We were shattered on Sunday when we left ,as were so tense &wound up, that, even after the racket subsided at 1am,we couldnt sleep for a few hours...

The trip was a one night stay carpark onsite handy ,met by a nice gentleman very friendly and helpful ,room was clean ,had a drink at bar lovely lady served us good choices , slept ok , breakfast was nice and all staff was friendly

Bad nights sleep ..
Hotel was lovely , staff where brilliant . Everything was lovely and clean . BUT Worst nights sleep me and my partner have ever had . The Mattress so hard and springs pinged i to your ribs every time you moved . Unfortunatly because the sleeping part is the main thing about a hotel , i doupt we will stay hear again ..
