Hotel.Daval was a great.place to stay in a lovely, central area with everything you need to hand and Bastille is a great location for exploring Paris. The room seemed newly refurbished and well designed for maximum comfort in a small space. It was very clean and all staff pleasant and helpful. I had a single room; the bed was comfortable and there was desk space with a chair, enough room for a suitcase and to hang some clothes and a safe for valuables. The wet room was well designed and hot water whenever I needed it. The windows opened, when closed the noise of the pretty lovely street was blocked. There was a heater (not needed for my May visit) but I didn't see any air conditioning, that might be a problem mid summer.

Single bed with desk and windows opening to the street. Space for a case and clothes hanging ( and a safe) beyond the desk.

The hotel was located at a convenient area for transportation and restaurants. The receptionists were very kind. However, we got a small room that was facing the street in a very bar-heavy area. We could hear people talking and barfing and gagging, and cars driving by well into the early morning hours. The room was very small and hard to walk if you have a lot of luggages.

In the beginning I thought what a nice a place to stay !! But the last day the staff was extremely rude to me and my friend !! They was raciste toward us .. can you imagine a receptionist insulting us !! This people shouldn’t be doing customers service I’m really dissatisfied
