Good use of student accommodation
Good location for walking into city centre. Reception help was excellent and friendly. Room is functional however bed is a small double. Good use of student accommodation for reasonably priced overnight accommodation for tourists.

Perfectly nice for a couple of days.
Surprisingly convenient for both central Edinburgh and Leith. Extremely clean and having a little shared kitchen was great. There is even covered bike/car parking nearby with a cute little roof garden. A few downsides: the beds were quite hard and the bathroom fan sounded like a jet plane ready to take off - and it being motion sensored made going to the bathroom in the night quite a jarring experience. Good for budget minded travellers.

very disappointed and do not recommend!
very disappointed! beds wasn't a double more 3 quarters. room was tiny. not even a glass/cup in room. pictures on site very misleading. For £200 for 3 nights I expected a bit more! Absolute con!

Fun for the fringe
Came up here for the fringe. 4 nights thursday through to monday. The place was good, well kept, and a spacious living environment. The obly downside was that the linen and mattress were not the most comfortable. But it is a student residency so sort of expected. Overall had a good stay.

Overpriced, but OK during the festival.
During the Edinburgh festival seasons prices are dispropotionaly high and this place was quite good for £75 a night. I would expect much more outside of the festival season for that money but it is a short bus ride, 30 min walk from Fringe venues. Nice to have en suite in a student housing block in Scotland though. No breakfast provided, but nearby there are two good breakfast spots (Crumbs and Bluebird cafe). Stockbridge is a short walk away too.
