There was plenty of parking even tho motel was full. The parking area and the pool area were clean. The air conditioner worked ok. The fridge provided in the room was clean and worked well. The rooms apparently have not been renovated in some time, but the furnishings were comfortable.

Called ahead of time to ensure rooms did not smell like smoke. Front desk informed me that all rooms were non-smoking but when I booked and checked in my room reeked of cigarette smell/smoke. A Very Bad sleep, looks are deceiving!

Next to a busy Highway, but I knew this. AC worked great, it was clean and cheaper than other hotels close to downtown, old town, and beach. BAD STUFF: A lot of homeless and shady people around hotel. Bed was like an Old Spring Mattress that had flat spots/worn springs and really uncomfortable. Then the room would rumble literally every 10-15 minutes by some type of equipment. I thought it was someone playing a loud car system but nope, never figured out what it was - I DID NOT SLEEP VERY WELL AT ALL!!!

I don’t recommend this place to any decent person. The first room I got had the door kicked in so it didn’t close right. I couldn’t lock it. I requested another room the next day and there were people coming and going all night, making car alarms go off. Didn’t look very safe.
