Very nice stay near train
Very close to Brussels Midi/zuid station. Rough neighborhood but hotel was a welcome place. Very clean, nice staff. Out power converter did trip the electric breaker twice but our fault not theirs.

Mixed Results
Hotel experience was just OK. Initially assigned to a room on the 5th floor with electrical problems. We were moved to another room on 1st floor, overlooking a large and ugly construction site. Construction made it initially difficult to locate the hotel and the area was strewn with trash. The entire Gare du Midi area seemed run-down.

6/10 Good

Nice hotel, poor location
Nice hotel close to the train station. However, the neighbourhood feels very unsafe. Groups of drug or drugged people loitering around near the hotel, signs of drug use near to the hotel main door. Due to construction works, the walk from hotel to the train station means you have to pass an unsightly part of the area, with homeless people approaching you and people actively dealing drugs.

Very friendly staff for a business hotel. It is very close to the train station, which makes it really convenient. We enjoyed out stay, although it was short.

10/10 Exceptional

Put aside the roadworks taking place outside, this hotel is 5-7 min walk from the Eurostar station. Walk to the city centre is about 15 minutes or jump on the tram (Lemonniere) which is 5 mins walk from the hotel and you're there in 3 mins. Local mini markets nearby and plenty of restuarants. The hotel itself if lovely...wonderful and helpful staff, good breakfast (mainly continental) but they do bacon, scrambled eggs and beans...they also have honey from the comb (superb). The piece de resistance for me was...the jacuzzi and sauna. There is also a decent gym (which I happily walked passed LOL). All in all, this hotel was a bargain and I would stay there again when next in Brussels

2/10 Poor

Toilet was disgusting. Not cleaned. Building works around the hotel so got woken up at 7am with loud construction work. Not ideal.

10/10 Exceptional

Hotel is very well kept. Rooms are very clean and staff very friendly. I did not use the other facilities such as gym and sauna. The only problem with the hotel is that there are road works being done in the block in front of the hotel. The road is partly closed, only the sidewalk is accessible if you are walking from Gare du midi. It creates a corridor with unsavoury characters hanging around, 2 to 3 faces were always there. I was offered stolen merchandise, when I did not stopped, I was followed… I did not feel safe, removed all my jewelry when walking through. I Stayed there 3 nights and was always worried coming back at the end of the day.
