Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, would stay again, although breakfast should be included in the price you pay for a night

Shabby un chic and overpriced hotel stay
The hotel is in need of a major redecoration. It looks as though it was last decorated around 1985. It's depressing in it's decor, the corridors are covered in a carpet that has worn away to reveal the webbing underneath and our room had ripped wallpaper in places. There were minimal facilities in the room, the beds were not comfortable, the curtains were hanging off the rail and the bathroom was tiny and shabby with a very old washbasin with stiff taps. The room itself smelt unpleasant when we walked in although the window had been left open. In the morning we were kept awake by the noise of another guest's television audible through the walls. The service was pretty minimal - there was confusion over whether we could have the parking place where we parked although I had been told by the person I spoke to originally that there would be a space on a first come first served basis. However the women on the desk when we arrived made a bit of a fuss about whether we could have this spot. Finally we thought it was over priced for the facilities the hotel offered.

Good stay
The hotel itself was good although the room didn’t have a fridge and the bed was not very comfortable. The the room was warm which was good for the UK. It is a bit far from the centre by walking but it is really close to the beach and also the colourfuk huts.
