Lovely stay in Bath
Overall a very pleasant stay. Room very clean and comfortable, good powerful shower.Excellent freshly cooked breakfast.Staff very polite and helpful. Only negative is our room was in the lower ground, basement level so felt a little dark and cool, but I suppose that's the charm of a town house!! Great location for exploring Bath.

Tiny beds and packed in like sardines
the beds in the classic double are simply not double sized. my husband and i are normal sized people although my husband is tall and he slept one night and i slept the next. i honestly contemplated sleeping on the floor! . i live in the UK. i realise beds can run on the small size but these were way too small. Our single companion who is also tall had a horrid time sleeping on the same size bed. the bath was tiny, the shower too small to escape the shower spray or shave and it was decidedly not luxury. You had a terrible feeling that the gorgeous old bldg had been carved up into just waaaay too many rooms in order to make a profit at the customers expense of a comfortable nights sleep or stay. Also it was advertised that some rooms had baths so i requested ine soecially only to be told they have no rooms with bathrubs( or maybe the rooms we booked didnt. The plug for the blow dryer was no where near a mirror. The breakfasts were very good though. I wont be returning. I expect to at least be able to sleep in a reasonably sized bed!
