Kendal House
Very welcoming
Great place to stay. Was made to feel really welcome, lovely couple running the place and breakfast was good.

Not really a true B&B. More like a bedsit.
Arrived at the B&B and there was no car parking, but fortunately there was space directly outside. Knocked on the door and I was greeted by a young lad, who turned out to be the son of the owners. He was very polite and helpful. Filled in a form and was shown to my room. Incidentally this form was left laying l about, so others guests could see it. Room was ok, en-suite was very good and the bed was comfortable. However the draws and wardrobes were filled with the families clothes and I felt like I was sleeping in someone's room. The lock on the room door didn't work, so I had to leave my room unlocked while I was out. It was a strange setup, where I found myself renting a room in someone's home. It was more like a bedsit. The family however where very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The family dog was noisy and begged for my breakfast, which some people wouldn't like. The owner made a lovely breakfast and then went off to work, leaving me to clear my plates, so the dog didn't get any left overs. I never saw anyone when I left. The house was reasonably tidy, but lived in. It was pretty quite over night and overal ok. For another £30 you could stay at the Hilton in MK with breakfast, so I'd recommend this.

Lovely little B&B great alternative to hotel
Lovely place, not stayed in a B&B for years and seemed strange to be effectively in a family home but so much nicer than normal business hotels, lovely family and very nice to enjoy breakfast with Maisie the dog, would be perfect for families I think although I was here just one night on business. Just a little hard to find in dark!

Great little cottage in quiet rural village
Really great little cottage about 12-15 mins away from Towcester and Silverstone. Really nice friendly people who were really accommodating. Would recommend.
