We stated for a one night break and had a very time. The hotel staff are excellent, the hotel is clean although some parts do now look a bit dated. However this did not distract from us having a very enjoyable stay. Thank you to all staff

An enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, there were lots of very pleasant and welcoming staff. Although the hotel is old fashioned it is freshly painted with new modern touches. Extremely clean . Excellent pool and we had lovely weather so able to sit on the terrace overlooking the gardens with a pre dinner drink. The food was good too. An older clientelle, we were the youngest, but a fun atmosphere.

Comfortable but with much room for improvement.
Deluxe room was spacious but the bathroom was nothing like luxury. Small taps and basin. Missing shower riser cap. Very small shower door. Reception hole-in-the-wall type arrangement with receptionist sitting down does not give a good first impression. Basically it was the hotel office with lots of clutter and doubling up as a reception. Breakfast was terrible, possibly the worst I've experienced in the last few years. Overcooked eggs, under cooked bacon and sausages. Everything litterally swinming in a centimeter of liquid grease. Also, any restaurant should not allow customers to sit with dirty plates in front of them for more than a couple of minutes at most. Ours were finally cleared but I noticed that other people left their table with mountains of dirty plates still on the table. Overall the hotel is comfortable but I wouldn't stay here again and found it to be quite overpriced for the level stay you can expect. I guess it all depends on what you are used to. Perhaps staying in a seaside hotel attracts people with different expectations.
