So many better options
Booked this hotel unsure of whether I might need an additional night, and thought the kitchen would be a bonus should we stay longer. * Cannot access the hotel from Yonge Street * Entrance is a small door next to a coffee shop, difficult to know if you are actually in a hotel or not as it is within a building * I called from outside about parking and was told to look for a sign on the wall of shopping plaza across the street - this was not visible. Directions to parking lot were poor. * Check in was terrible. It requires you to go up to 12th floor, check in and you have to return to your vehicle to put a parking pass inside the car. * Perhaps daytime check ins, with minimal luggage, and travel companions being adults not children - would provide an ideal candidate to stay at this hotel. * My late night check in, no visibility, dragging my child up and down, and up and down, was not ideal. * The room felt rundown, wall damage, the bedding was cheap sheer white sheets that lacked any quality, the kitchen was EMPTY. No cutlery, no plates, no soap, no towels, Nothing. There was a sign on the counter that said long term guests can inquire about getting kitchen set up kit. * There is nothing that indicated a hotel suite, with a kitchen, would require a request in advance to have basic supplies provided. * this was a huge disappointment. * I reviewed check in with Expedia while in hotel, email said hotel will address directly, they did not and I personally checked out

Great place to stay!
Booked an overnight stay for my husband and I to visit Toronto for a couple of days. The hotel was a little hard to find and figure out how to check in because the lobby of the hotel was on the 12th floor of a 21 story building where the 1st 11 floors were businesses? Once we figured out where to park and check in, it was wonderful. We were informed that we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite instead of the studio room we originally booked which was a nice surprise. The room was awesome! We were on the 20th floor in a corner unit with a great view of the entire city!! Great decor, very roomy, full kitchen although no need to use it as full breakfast was complimentary. We got to breakfast around 8:30am (closing was 9:30) and most of the hot items were already gone. We got a spoonful of eggs with what was left of the fruit and. One of the items was spinach quiche but it was empty and I don’t think it was refilled. There was some biscuits with gravy which was good as well. I felt bad for the guests that came after us! It was busy and what we got was good. I wished we could have stayed longer!! Not sure we will be visiting the area again as we are from California but we do, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Clean Spacious Room
Our three-day stay at Liberty Suites was very good for the price we paid. The one bedroom queen suite was quite spacious (lots of room for a small family) and was clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, the kitchen only comes with appliances so you will need to bring plates/utensils, etc. The service was marginally acceptable--not unfriendly, but not overly nice either. We asked for some extra cups for the coffee in the room and were challenged by the front desk staff (who told us there should be some in our room, which there were, but we had used them). Room service cleaned the room sufficiently, but didn't replace cups, stir sticks, sugar for our entire stay. The breakfast was definitely NOT the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. There was enough variety (greasy or tasteless eggs, sausages, soggy waffles, stale breads and pastries, acceptable fresh fruit) but the selection did not change from day to day. We didn't go hungry, but weren't exactly wowed either. The Asian supermarket was very convenient, with good working hours. Centrepointe Mall is a quick drive down Yonge Street and has a grocery store, beer store, as well as regular mall stores. Also, there is a small playground by one of the condo buildings in the complex (just off Doncaster), that may interest young families. Finding the parking was confusing, but if you just follow the above ground signs for the grocery store/mall/free parking you will find it easily. We would likely stay here again.

Exceptional 10.0
I preface this review by saying I knew what I was walking into, on account of I read reviews beforehand, and nothing particularly bothered me as a result. I'll cosign all of the usual observations here: Yes, it's a mixed-use business and residential building. No, guests are not the only inhabitants and the entire place is not configured solely to serve the hotel. Yes, the parking structure is a bit of a labyrinth, and it'll serve you to have your license plate number memorized so you don't have to run back and forth to get your parking validated. Yes, the hotel lobby is a little alcove on the 12th floor and if they're on the phone or preoccupied with something, the desk staff might give you a blank stare for a minute before taking you. Yes, they charge to rent equipment for the kitchenette in the suites, I brought a small camping kit from home and it was fine. Yes, the free breakfast is in a short window with limited seating in the lobby and serves the same mass-order restaurant supply fare food every day. Yes, unless Canadian sizes are different, the bed in our king suite was definitely not an actual king. I didn't bother to take it up with the desk so I don't have any input on how graciously they handle room complaints. Yes, a train runs nearby. It wasn't that loud. The trek to the nearest transit center is *just* long and annoying enough to keep the price from being outrageous like it would be in the city proper. Overall I knew what to expect of the place and it was fine.

Spacious hotel in the suburbs
The hotel itself was generally good. It seemed to be residential apartments converted into hotel rooms. The rooms were very large and spacious, and mine included a kitchenette, including a microwave, oven, and fridge. They even had a Keurig in the kitchen for the coffee, which was a nice touch. However, the wifi was very weak in my room - I think they just needed to install more extenders, because down the hall the wifi was great. So I just moved to certain areas in my room to get better wifi. It was annoying but I didn't think it was worth it to change my room after I had already settled in. But the views were pretty nice - you can't see downtown, but you can definitely see a lot since there are no tall buildings nearby. The breakfast was pretty decent. A good selection of food to be sure, and definitely no complaints considering this was included in the price of the room. The gym was 24/7, and it wasn't bad. It had a universal set, and a couple of weights. It's a bit better than some of the hotel gyms I've been to, but definitely not a health club. The location itself is definitely in the suburbs. It is transit accessible but only by bus (it's about a 5-10 minute ride from Finch subway). Great for accessing suburbs but not downtown. Not much around the neighborhood - it is sprawl out in this part of the city. Neighborhood does not seem sketchy at night, but being in the suburbs, the walkability of the area is low to medium.
