Headingley Lodge
Hotel is a great setting overlooked the cricket ground. On match days the rooms double up as hospitality boxes. Allowing for the development work on the ground were work had finished when I arrived at 6pm and srarted around 7am. This wasn’t a problem for me as i was up. However the rooms have outside access to the seating area which is locked when used as a hotel. I had workers who were working on the ground I believe in the room next to me who evidently had access to the seating area. They thought it was a great idea to sit outside drinking and smoking and generally making a noise until 1am. Obviously not working hard enough in the day. As it had been a hot day the windows were open and resulted in very little sleep. I ordered breakfast for 7am. This didn’t arrive until 7.20 and was a waste of money. I didn’t have time to eat it. All in all. A great concept but not coming back

Good staff, shame about quality of rooms.
Service of staff was great, but noise from other rooms was ridiculous. Ceilings and walls I can’t believe are sound insulated like a normal hotel. Spent 5 hours of the night listening to a guy on the phone in the room next door.

Night away
It was OK, great view from bedroom window of cricket ground and room was a great size. Clean but bed wasn't the most comfiest. 5 min walk to amenities

could be better
TV in room only works on some channels so dont expect bbc1 or ITV. rooms noisy as you can hear people coughing using the toilet and calling home. Doors bang very loudly which wake you up in the night as people come in and wake you up in the morning as they leave.

Wasn’t informed prior to booking that there was huge building works being taken. Room was dirty and had a spring sticking in my side all night so zero sleep!
