Apanemo Hotel

Easily the best hotel and staff I have come across in 30 years of travel. I have stayed in many top class global chain hotels but nothing comes close to the attention to detail of this hotel. From the room planning, hotel build, views, quality of staff, there is nothing that can be criticised or reviewed negatively. Simply the best hotel stay I have had.

Amazing place. Well worth the money and better area to stay with view over caldera than Thira or Oia. Family run and very friendly no trouble for anything.. free taxi service around local area and on demand.. brilliant idea of a mobile phone in your room for your use while you stay.. including free uk calls! Lots of useful tips and info as well. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The views into the caldera and along the Perissa peninsula to Ancient Thera were breathtaking from the pool and at breakfast. The architecture of the public areas around the pool contributes significantly to general enjoyment of the panorama. the staff were wonderfully helpful and showed great attentiveness and attention to detail - would thoroughly recommend.

Our stay was perfect!! The hotel is located in a special area, away from tbe crowdy Fira and Oia, with spectacular views for the volcano and caldeira, a beautiful pool, and a perfect way for relaxing! With a rented car you can easily access those "more turistic" areas (which are amazing, of course) but you can go back and have a perfect peace night!! The staff was very very helpful!! They arranged our car rental, gave great indications of restaurants and points of interest and also offered rides for any place in the region (restaurants, red beach, markets, etc)!! I would definitely stay again!!
