Work trip in very hot weather... Obviously too warm (English, we're never happy) but fan in room did help. Enjoyed the evening meals, didn't do breakfast. Wednesday night bar was quiet and it was nice to sit and read. Thursday night... School Prom. Nice to see the hotel being utilised but there was no prior warning or designated area for paying guests. Discussed with hotel & thank you for apologising and understanding my frustration. Yes, I will book again if work brings me back this way. Enjoyed the local (evening) walks and village as the additional facilities like Tesco's, pub and chippy
