The hotel has a panoramic view to Lake Atitlan - excellent. It has an extremely beautiful garden all around with rare plants and trees. We enjoyed it so much. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The wash basin hot faucet needs some repairs. Overall a very enjoyable hotel.

Wonderful experience and views
This may have been the best hotel experience I’ve had in all my travels. The grounds are incredible, the views are sensational and the staff are extremely hospitable. I ended up extending my stay for the reasons I mentioned above, but also particularly because the kindness of JuanCarlos. I can’t believe I forgot to leave a review back in October, but my conversation with my gf reminded me how wonderful our time was at hotel atitlan. I spent a few nights at other hotels around the lake, but I honestly would have preferred hotel atitlan had I known beforehand. The price is a bit more, but you get what you pay for. Plenty activities within walking distance and the atmosphere at this resort is immaculate. I can’t stress this enough! Guatemala has a lot of culture to offer and this is a hidden gem.

It has a gorgeous garden and perfect for pictures. I was a little surprised at the unique charm in the lobby but then appreciated it. The room view is gorgeous and worth the drive from the airport. The food at the hotel was delicious!!!

It is to noise the gardeners started working around 9 am the noise was not placent. The towels were old, the pillows and bed sheet smelled bad. It was lots of dust arou d the room.

The hotel grounds respect a killer. The landscaping was outstanding and obviously done by an artist. The view of the volcano in the lake were just absolutely spectacular because the placement of the hotel and nestled in the valley just made for the most beautiful makes perfect setting. The staff goes out of their way to help. And just about anything that you need. The room itself was very well appointed, it was a classic decor that matched the ceiling of the hotel. Dark mahogany furniture and Saltillo tile create a perfect setting that totally match the mood. Each room has a beautiful balcony with a view of the volcano. I really have no complaints to be honest.
