    Very disappointing customer service

    Hotel was nice, as was the room. However we were on the 3rd floor and were unable to get any 3G or 4G on our phones and the hotel Wi-Fi was not working. We missed a family Zoom call and were unable to access internet on our room for the duration of our stay. The room had a small DAB radio that could not get a clear signal on any station, a TV and media centre that had no access to movies and a Bluetooth system that would not connect to either of our phones. I phoned the concierge to raise the issues, I was told there was a problem with the hotel Wi-Fi and he would pass my complaint on to the night manager who would call me back. Unfortunately he never did. I raised the same issues with the front desk on check out and was told the night manager would contact me vie email which he has not. I find the general lack of customer support very poor for a 5 star hotel and am left feeling very disappointed.

    Lovely hotel with high tech touches, a huge bath in our room, and excellent bar and room service. Lovely staff, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. We'll definitely come again!

    Comfortable stay disappointing welcome

    Would have expected more from reception on arrival esp being five star. Disappointing. However reception were quick to deal with the sudden loss of power in the room. Quickly arranged a move to another room. Very comfortable stay. Fab bath.

    Simply superb service

    We had a two night stay - Great room with an excellent bathroom. Air conditioning was noisy. Sounded like a wind tunnel. Can any hotel get this right? Service was amazing. The staff are simply superb. Also we ate in their Michelin starred restaurant Angler on Saturday night. Had the tasting menu - again staff are second to non. We will be staying here again. As it's situated in the city - for the weekend it's a lot quieter than the West End which is what we were after. Hustle and bustle of Spitalfields market was only 5 mins walk. So best of both worlds. Definitely recommend a stay here.

    Gorgeous hotel with epic customer service

    Probably one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in years. The service was really great, and although I was slightly miffed I had to pay a surcharge of £50 for bringing my dog in, they made her feel very welcome and gave her a bed and bowl for the night. Its decor is clean and modern and the food was great too. Couldn't recommend enough.

    Anniversary celebration

    Booked an over night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We travelled with 2 friends. Given a glass of champagne on arrival. Both rooms were excellent. We dined in Angler and found the food and service excellent too. Breakfast was good with a variety of dishes to choose from. Prices were very reasonable.
